The most recent lift we carried out with the Grove GMK5130-2 mobile crane was to lift a 24ton narrow boat barge boat into the Grand Canal in Dublin. There was more challenges with this than just lifting it as the lady purchasing the boat needed the whole operation organized on her behalf.
We had to organize transport from the United Kingdom, escort from the dock lands and we also had to deal with Waterways Ireland in finding a suitable location and permission to carry out the lift. The lady left the full organisation to us and she was very happy with whole operation which off very successfully without a hitch!
